General conditions
The consumer has the right to notify Yourbeerexperience that he renounces the purchase, without payment of a penalty and without giving a reason within 14 days from the day following the delivery of the product.
If the products ordered do not meet the Customer's expectations, the Customer may return or bring back the unopened and undamaged goods to the store within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason and without paying a penalty, and this on presentation of the delivery note or invoice. We will refund or exchange the returned items. Yourbeerexperience will cover the cost of the return and (if applicable) new shipment.
Under no circumstances will Yourbeerexperience accept returned opened bottles or jars.

ARTICLE 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS
The electronic web store of Yourbeerexperience, a trappist bar with registered office in Herselt, Belgium, offers its clients the opportunity to purchase trappist products online. These General Terms and Conditions ("Conditions") apply to all items in the Yourbeerexperience assortment and any purchase made by the client with Yourbeerexperience. The customer accepts that these conditions, will be the only ones applicable, to the exclusion of his/her own general or specific (purchase) conditions, even if these would stipulate that they are the only ones applicable.
ARTICLE 2: PRICE
All prices quoted always include VAT and all other taxes required to be borne by the customer. If transport, reservation or administrative costs are charged, this will be stated separately. The stated price refers exclusively to the articles as described verbatim. The accompanying photo is for decorative purposes only and may include elements of items not included in the price.
ARTICLE 3: OFFER
Each offer is only open to customers residing in the European Union. Items are for normal private use only.
Despite the fact that the catalog and website are compiled with the utmost care, it is still possible that the information offered is incomplete, or contains material errors, or is not up-to-date. If You have specific questions about, for example, sizes, color, availability, delivery time or delivery method, please contact our customer service department in advance (see article 12).
Yourbeerexperience is only bound by an obligation of means regarding the accuracy, up-to-dateness, or completeness of the information provided. Yourbeerexperience shall under no circumstances be liable in the event of material errors, misprints or printing errors. Offers are valid while supplies last and may be modified or withdrawn by Yourbeerexperience at any time.
Yourbeerexperience is entitled -without giving reasons- to refuse orders, adjust delivery times, split deliveries, or attach other conditions to delivery.
ARTICLE 4: ONLINE PURCHASES
The client has the option of purchasing items from the Yourbeerexperience range online. The purchase is made when the customer receives a confirmation email from Yourbeerexperience. The items will be delivered to the customer's home on the delivery date indicated in the confirmation email. The customer has the choice between the following payment methods: - via credit card - cash.
Yourbeerexperience accepts payments by Bancontact, VISA and MASTERCARD. If the customer chooses to pay by credit card, the amount will be debited from their account immediately after their confirmation of payment.
ARTICLE 5: RETENTION OF TITLE
Delivered items remain the exclusive property of Yourbeerexperience until payment in full by the customer. However, the risk of loss or damage passes to the client from the time of delivery. The customer undertakes, if necessary, to inform third parties of Yourbeerexperience's retention of title, for example to anyone who might seize items not yet paid for in full.
ARTICLE 6: PENALTIES FOR NON-PAYMENT
Without prejudice to the exercise of other rights available to Yourbeerexperience, in the event of non-payment or late payment, the client shall be liable, ipso jure and without formal notice, for interest of 10% per year on the amount not paid. In addition, the customer shall be liable, ipso jure and without formal notice, for fixed damages of 10% on the amount involved, with a minimum of 25 Euro per invoice. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Yourbeerexperience reserves the right to take back items that have not been paid for (in full).
ARTICLE 7: COMPLAINTS
Any visible damage and/or qualitative deficiency of an item or other shortcoming in delivery must be reported immediately, under penalty of forfeiture of any right.
ARTICLE 8: WARRANTY
- Legal warranty (for consumers only)
Under the Act of September 21, 2004 on consumer protection in the sale of consumer goods, consumers have legal rights. Each item is subject to the legal warranty from the date of purchase by (if applicable delivery to) the first owner. Any commercial warranty does not affect these rights.
- General
To invoke the warranty, the customer must be able to provide proof of purchase. For items purchased online and delivered to the customer's home, the customer must contact customer service in advance, after which the customer must return the item to Yourbeerexperience at the customer's expense. The warranty (commercial and/or legal) never applies to defects caused by accidents, neglect, falls, abnormal or incorrect use, use of the item contrary to the purpose for which it was designed, non-compliance with the user instructions or manual, modifications or alterations to the item, heavy-handed use, poor maintenance, abnormal or incorrect use. It also does not apply to articles with a shorter lifespan, or wear and tear articles. Defects that manifest themselves after a period of 6 months following the date of purchase, if applicable delivery, are deemed not to be hidden defects, subject to proof to the contrary by the Customer. The warranty is not transferable.
ARTICLE 9: RENUNCIATION PERIOD
The provisions of this article only apply to customers who purchase items online in their capacity as consumers: The consumer has the right to notify Yourbeerexperience that they are cancelling the purchase, without having to pay a penalty and without stating a reason, within 14 days of the day following the delivery of the product. Customers wishing to exercise the right of withdrawal must contact customer services within 14 days of delivery and return the goods at their own expense within 20 days of delivery to Yourbeerexperience; steenovens 26, 2230 Herselt, Belgium. Goods with a sales price of 100 Euro or more must be returned to us by courier (PostNl, Bpost, DHL, Fedex, etc). Only articles that are in their original and undamaged packaging, together with all accessories, instructions for use and invoice or proof of purchase can be returned. Under no circumstances will the following articles be taken back:
- used, dirty, damaged or incomplete articles
- articles of which the packaging (or part of the packaging) has been opened
- articles that have been custom-made for the customer
- articles that, by their nature, cannot be returned
ARTICLE 10: PRIVACY
Yourbeerexperience undertakes to use your data solely for the purpose of executing the contract entered into through your order and to send you non-binding information from Yourbeerexperience. If you would also like to receive information by e-mail, please provide your e-mail address. We treat your data as confidential information and will never pass it on, rent or sell it to third parties. You may at any time request, correct, amend or delete your data that we keep in Yourbeerexperience's client list, and you may refuse to allow Yourbeerexperience to use your data to send you information. Simply request this in writing to the address listed below: Steenovens 26, 2230 Herselt. Clients are responsible for keeping their log-in data and password confidential. Your password is stored encrypted, Yourbeerexperience therefore has no access to your password. Yourbeerexperience strictly respects the Belgian law of December 8, 1992 regarding the protection of privacy in the processing of personal data. You have access via your user profile to all the data available about you on Yourbeerexperience for consultation, modification or deletion. Yourbeerexperience makes use of cookies. Cookies consist of a standard Internet technology that allows certain information to be stored and accessed on the user's system. Cookies cannot be used to identify individuals; a cookie can only identify a machine. Any Internet user can set their computer to not accept cookies. If your computer does not accept cookies, it is possible that you will experience problems during the ordering process. Should this be the case, please contact us so that we can enter your order. Yourbeerexperience keeps online (anonymous) visitor statistics in order to see which pages of the website are visited and to what extent. ARTICLE 11: ENCROACHMENT VALIDITY - NON-RENUNCIATION
If any provision of these Conditions is declared invalid, unlawful or null and void, this shall in no way affect the validity, legality and applicability of the other provisions. Failure at any time by Yourbeerexperience to enforce any of the rights enumerated in these Terms, or to exercise any right hereunder, shall never be deemed a waiver of such provision and shall never affect the validity of such rights.

ARTICLE 13: MODIFICATION OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These conditions are supplemented by other conditions explicitly referred to, and Yourbeerexperience's general conditions of sale. In the event of contradiction, these terms and conditions take precedence. Yourbeerexperience may modify these conditions at any time without further notice. Any purchase made after the amendment constitutes acceptance by the customer of these new terms and conditions.
ARTICLE 14: EVIDENCE
The customer accepts that electronic communications and backups may serve as evidence.
ARTICLE 15 - AGE LIMIT
Orders are only permitted to those who are 18 years of age or older. Should it appear during delivery that the order is placed or delivered to someone under 18 years of age, the order will automatically be cancelled. The cost of this cancellation is €9.99 and will be borne by the consumer. So never let an order be accepted by someone under 18 years old, the delivery person will not deliver the order.
